At the turn of the 20th century, a large number of watermills were built on the Szreniawa river and surrounding streams. These places are a testament to the industrialisation of farming, and many still exist, often operated by the same families that built them.
Some of these structures fell into disrepair, some were repurposed, or vanished completely.
This project aims to document what remains.
